The Switch 20 Degree sleeping bag is an innovative synthetic sleeping bag that uses Mountain Hardwear’s exclusive Quantum expander to allow you to increase the girth of the bag by 8 inches. Simply zip the Quantum expander open for extra room and to make the bag sleep cooler on warmer night, or zip it closed for maximum warmth. The expander is a fully insulated panel, so you can rest easy without worrying about cold spots. Thermic MX™ insulation is extremely soft and compresses easily for compact storage. This 20 degree sleeping bag is a great choice for trips in cold to moderate temperatures where moisture and compressibility are issue.
Thermic MX™Insulation: A cut staple insulation comprised of solid and hollow fibers formulated to maximize the benefits of each. Large diameter hollow fibers contain tiny airspaces that trap heat. Smaller diameter fibers create structure while maintaining softness. Fibers are crimped for loft retention and silicone treated for improved compressibility and increased performance in wet conditions.50D Nylon Taffeta: 50D/258T nylon taffeta.
