Micro Climate Zoning™ construction follows the body's natural hot and cold spots, using Polartec® Monkey Phur Lite fleece to insulate your core, and Power Stretch® side panels to add stretch and breathability. Designed for climbers, with a close-fitting hood and harness-friendly pockets.
Monkey Phur is 97% polyester, 3% elastane, high loft, long pile raschel knit with velour back. 20% lighter than the original Monkey Phur. Durable resilient fiber on the face and back. Will not pill after extended use. Highly breathable.

Polartec® Power Stretch®
Moisture and high relative humidity next to the skin cause discomfort. Polartec® Power Stretch® keeps the skin dry through three complementary mechanisms:
1) The fabric is highly breathable and does not restrict the movement of moisture vapor.
2) "Touch points" on the fabric inner surface draw moisture. Sweat is wicked off the skin to the outside of the fabric where it spreads rapidly for evaporation.
3) When the sweat reaches the outside of the fabric, it spreads out to many times its original surface area, enabling it to dry at least 2 times faster than cotton.
