These lightweight nylon shorts for active boys dry quickly and have 50+ UPF sun protection. This garment has a Regular Fit Boys and water, somehow the two have a way of finding each another. Summit Shorts are sympathetic to the symbiosis - they are lightweight, tough-wearing and quick to dry. Built of 100% nylon with 50+ UPF sun protection and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish, they have an internal waist adjustment for a stay-put fit, handwarmer pockets, roomy patch cargo pockets and a zip fly with button closure. Lacking fur, feathers or scales, we humans have to think up clever ways to protect ourselves from the sun. Products with the UPF designation provide built-in sun protection that won’t wear off.
