This quick-wicking, quick-drying tee is made with an 84% polyester/16% spandex fabric that provides 50+ UPF sun protection and has Gladiodor® odor control for the garment. It rests lightly on the skin, allows a cooling airflow, and wicks perspiration. Offset seams feel smooth under pack straps, and a reflective logo on the chest and center-back adds visibility to predawn runs. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

Lacking fur, feathers or scales, we humans have to think up clever ways to protect ourselves from the sun. Products with the UPF designation provide built-in sun protection that won’t wear off. To achieve sun protection, we take a varied approach, depending on the degree desired and the fabric used. Elements of the strategy can range from yarn selection to fabric construction to the use of special finishes (especially for light colors).
