This is our stretchiest baselayer, made to keep you dry and moving freely during active pursuits. The 84% polyester/16% spandex fabric provides 50+ UPF sun protection and has Gladiodor odor control for the garment. It wicks perspiration and rests lightly on the skin, allowing a cooling airflow. Wide straps accommodate sports bras, offset seams feel smooth under pack straps, and reflective logos on the front and center-back add visibility to predawn runs. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

Lacking fur, feathers or scales, we humans have to think up clever ways to protect ourselves from the sun. Products with the UPF designation provide built-in sun protection that won’t wear off. To achieve sun protection, we take a varied approach, depending on the degree desired and the fabric used. Elements of the strategy can range from yarn selection to fabric construction to the use of special finishes (especially for light colors). Patagonia products with rated UPF protection are tested independently to meet Australia/New Zealand or AATCC protocols.
