The North Face Borealis is a large backpack that is equally at home in class or on the trail. As a school book bag the Borealis can accommodate up to a 17” laptop in the universal sleeve while the large compartment boasts enough room for even the largest research project. A secondary compartment has an organizer for the smaller items you need to access easily and a small stash pocket on the front with water-resistant zipper is ideal for protecting precious cargo. As a hiking backpack the universal sleeve can be used to store a 100oz hydration reservoir. The hipbelt and sternum strap offer additional load control when traveling over uneven terrain and the hipbelt can be hidden in a concealed pocket when not in use.
